18th November 2003 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 15-18 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 12ºC Sea Temperature: 12ºC Weather: Drizzle Max Speed: Distance Covered: I met Andy in the estuary, but there wasn't enough wind there so we headed around to the seafront. There seemed to be a steady 18 knot wind there so i rigged my 5.7m and Big board, but by the time I was walking down to the water the wind seemed to have dropped a little. It turned out that there was just enough wind to get going and I had an OK session for a while with some nice gybes and the odd decent jump. There wasn't quite enough wind to consistently get upwind though and then the wind dropped even more resulting ina walk of shame!... At least it wasn't as big a walk as Andy had!! ;) |
